I'm busy studying the manual now.It took a lot of time, but here is my contribution for "Europa Universalis 3: Divine Wind" Version 5.0. To be honest, getting the tutorials working didn't help much. It stopped crashing after installing Divine Wind.

All I can say is the tutorial, or Trial should I say, for war seemed to work once I installed Heir to the Throne. The tutorial was messed up on Complete, but seemed to work on Heir to the Throne, but it crashed on exit. I didn't make the mistake of installing Divine Wind first though.

It told me that I had the 4th update when I looked at Divine Wind, but didn't tell me where the 3rd one was, and I had a sneaking suspicion you needed the 3rd one because I knew Complete came with the first two.Īt least on Win 8, the thing wouldn't work right until I installed both updates. The only way I figured out you needed Heir to the Throne first was checking the description on Steam. I'm retracting my strongly worded initial reaction.

I have no idea why my steam install had the extra space. (EDIT #4) Others have commented that they've had no issues and I'm inclined to believe them. (EDIT #3) If you don't mind waiting and you have a spare 350MB or so on your download cap then you can verify the game cache files (Properties ->Local Files ->Verify Integrity of Game Cache) and it will download the rest of the files to the new folder. You can get around it for now by copying the content from the new folder on top of the old folder. (EDIT #2) The old install folder was: steamapps common europa universalis iii - complete The new folder is: steamapps common Europa Universalis III - Complete Note the number of spaces after the Roman numerals. (EDIT) To clarify, all the 5.2 files seem to have been added to a brand new folder with a slightly different name to where it was previously installed to on Steam. There may or may not be issues with the Steam release.
